Job Summary We are seeking an experienced .NET API Developer with strong hands-on expertise in building scalable backend services and integrating cloud-based solutions on AWS. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing RESTful APIs, working closely with cross-functional teams on architecture, cloud adoption, and deployment. Knowledge of ReactJS for UI support and experience integrating Claude.AI or other LLM APIs will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ASP.NET / .NET Core Web APIs with clean, scalable architecture.
Build microservices and server-side components with best coding practices.
Work extensively with AWS cloud services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EC2, SNS/SQS, DynamoDB/RDS, CloudWatch, and IAM.
Implement secure, high-performing APIs and ensure proper authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth, Cognito).
Collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and performance optimization.
Integrate external services using REST/GraphQL APIs.
Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and Agile Scrum ceremonies.
Optional: Support front-end teams using ReactJS when needed.
Optional: Integrate AI workflows using Claude.AI / OpenAI for intelligent automation or backend data processing.
Required Skills
5+ years of hands-on experience with .NET Core / ASP.NET and backend API development.
Strong experience with C#, OOP concepts, and design patterns (Repository, Dependency Injection, CQRS preferred).
Practical experience with AWS Cloud Services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudFormation, RDS/DynamoDB, SNS/SQS).
Hands-on experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL stores.
Strong knowledge of REST API design, versioning, documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI).
Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab, AWS CodePipeline).
Strong debugging, optimization, and problem-solving skills.
Added Advantage (Good to Have)
Working knowledge of ReactJS to collaborate with front-end teams.
Experience integrating Claude.AI / OpenAI / LLM APIs for automation or smart features.
Familiarity with Docker, containerization, and Kubernetes (EKS).
Experience with Serverless architecture on AWS.
Knowledge of messaging queues and event-driven architecture.
