Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Tiruchirappalli for a Certified Ambulance Coder. The Certified Ambulance Coder will review and document ambulance runs for billing purposes, utilizing their in-depth understanding of coding language and medical terminology, and ensure that all medical codes assigned are correct and supported by documentation. They will also review medical records and work with healthcare providers to ensure that compliance with legal requirements is met.

Qualifications
Must have CAC/CPC Certification
Experience in ambulance coding and billing practices for both emergency and non-emergency transportation
Strong knowledge of medical coding languages, such as ICD-10-CM, CPT-4, and HCPCS
Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy
Experience working with electronic health records (EHR) and practice management software
Ability to read and interpret medical records and prior authorizations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with healthcare providers and colleagues.
