Create and implement project plan and execution in technologies of data ingestion,extraction, transformation, staging and loading of the data into data warehouses.
•Determine the appropriate time to make advancement on projects and move on to further stages. Also, acknowledge when certain strategies aren’t effective and implement change of plan especially in dimensions and facts in the data warehouse.
•Plan the implementation of solutions and integrate data engineering pipelines and choose the right technologies and evaluate the evolution of the architecture as the clients’ needs change.
•Identify the specific infrastructure needed for data engineering pipelines.
•Design, document, build and implement database architectures and applications. Deal the complexities in the architecture and solving in time.
•Develop measures that ensure data accuracy, integrity and accessibility. Lead the team members to perform their roles efficiently so that the project goals are achieved
•Review and give individual feedback to improve the skills of the team members so that performance of the project improves overall
•Engage with the MIS data visualization team and do changes in the data pipeline if changes or addition of attributes required. Clearly measure individual performance and contributions towards the success of the project.
•Develop and enforce database development standards, Apply research methodologies to identify the Machine Learning models for the problem at hand
•Continually monitor, refine and report data management system performance. Maintain direct and open interaction with line managers to make sure all resources needed for the project are available and also consider the negotiation of amendments to project plans to achieve best offers
•Review and give individual feedback to improve the skills of the team members so that performance of the project improves overall.
•Give clear directions and instructions to both team members and stakeholders with regards to external factors, to enable them carry out their duties effectively
•Clearly measure individual performance and contributions towards the success of the project.
